Core

Skimlinks has been integrated into the core vBulletin installation from versions 4.1.2 onwards. Skimlinks will appear as an Advertising option in your Admin Control Panel

Plugin

Skimlinks provides a plugin for versions of vBulletin from 3.6 to 4.1.1. Once installed (using the instructions in this document), Skimlinks will appear as a Skimlinks Plugin menu option in your vBulletin Admin Control Panel

Compatibility

Skimlinks integrations are compatible with vBulletin versions 3.6 and above. We recommend upgrading to the latest version of vBulletin 4.1.2 for the most integrated implementation of Skimlinks. If you do not want to upgrade, please use the Skimlinks vBulletin plugin.

Note: The core integration and the plugin provide exactly the same functionality for versions 3.8 and above. If you are using vBulletin version 3.6 or 3.7, the functionality to disable SkimLinks or SkimWords on posts by members of certain usergroups is not available. Additionally, if you are using vBulletin version 3.6, the functionality to allow users to disable Skimlinks is not available.

To install Skimlinks on your Vbulletin CMS pages you will need to copy the JavaScript from within your publisher interface here, then paste it into the CMS shell template.
