Skimlinks respects all pre-existing affiliate network links on a page, and we do not overwrite any links that already have affiliate network tracking. Our script will only re-write unadulterated merchant links without affiliate tags, where an affiliate link is available.
There are a few exceptions where some merchants have their own affiliate tracking that can be tough for us to recognize as affiliate tracking vs. a normal Merchant URL. If the merchant affiliate link uses links similar to, or the same as, the natural merchant link then you should contact our fantastic Account Specialist team.
Please note that some links may still show as re-redirecting through Skimlinks (go.redirectingat or go.skimresources), however this is only for tracking & reporting purposes, and it does not mean we are adding affiliate tracking.
