Publishers see the Merchant At Risk notification when we have found information that suggests a merchant's affiliate program may be negatively affected (e.g. filing for bankruptcy).
This may be that they have reduced their CPA rate, requested a pause on their affiliate program, or another event captured in the news that means we think that publishers using this merchant may want to consider alternatives.
This is a proactive notification put in place to keep publishers in the loop and help ensure that all content created is steered towards the best possible merchants.
