We suggest that publishers update and refine existing content, to find the areas that they can increase or add value to the pages on their site.
For merchants this rewards publishers who update links and content to be inline with the merchants current products and links. If a newer version of a product is released it incentivises the publisher to update links on older high performing articles.
If the merchant does not want to allow this that is fine. The way to remove individual affiliate links from a publisher page will be to contact the publisher directly.

Publishers will to have pages that rank on google or are more popular with their readers. These pages tend to be more fixed and with a longer term more evergreen potential.
Purchases linked to visitors arriving at or returning to those pages, later than you may expect is not uncommon. In fact it is a marker we see with our top performing publishers as part of a well developed affiliate strategy,
