To start monetizing your content, you can install Skimlinks by adding our JavaScript snippet to your website’s header or by using one of our dedicated plugins for platforms like WordPress.
Option 1: The Universal JavaScript (For any website)
- Log in to your Skimlinks Publisher Hub and navigate to install
- Copy the unique JavaScript code snippet provided for your account.
- Paste the code inte the <head> section of your website's HTML template (preferably just before the closing </head> tag).
- Save and publish your changes.
Option 2: The WordPress Plugin (For WordPress sites)
- Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
- Navigate to Plugins > Add New and search for Skimlinks.
- Install and Activate the official Skimlinks plugin.
- Enter your Publisher ID in the plugin settings to connect your account.
How to test if your installation is working
- Wait: It can take up to 24 hours for our system to detect your installation.
- Check: Go to the Install page in your Publisher Hub and look for the "Installation Status" badge. If it is green, you are live!
- Test a link: Click on one of your monetized links on your site. If it redirects correctly, tracking is active.
